Hello its insanely early in the morning for me to be awake. I wanted to sleep until 12 but I woke up after exactly 8 hours of sleep. I think I am brilliant after not sleeping at all on the plane. Now I really do not have much to do, maybe eat a bit of breakfast.

So Prague, post-communism definitely poorer than their other European friends but charming I suppose. It was quite scary because a week before they had some Nazi demonstrations wanting a pure state. So they were doing some attacks on the people who were not Aryan. Luckily it died down.

It was the only day it ever snowed, the day we arrived. I was waiting and waiting and waiting over the entire weekend for it to snow again, but it never did. Stupid global warming. Everywhere in city center Prague had cobblestone which was so super old. Anyway it was really cold every day mostly bordering 0 and -1 degree celcius. The nights were freezing so we just stayed in most of the time. Thank god the hotel was wonderful and comfortable, officially a fan of the Mandarin Oriental and Four Seasons. Yea ate at some Czech Restaurant with some Michelin Star chef, I was far to jetlagged to even appreciate the food correctly. Anyway after the meal we almost ran back to the hotel across the bridge because it was so cold I think it was -5.

So we went to visit the Prasky Hard (Prague Castle) this the view from the Castle's wall. So Prague is just your typical European Town. Anyway when we asked this cab driver about the communist he just went on and on and on in Czech(like we understand). The castle was on a hill so it was cold and all the pictures I look so wrapped up and pau like.

The church in the castle very cool, but the pictures from inside did not turn out very awesome, no flash was allowed. Its amazing how they built it. It's a giant. That whole circular thing is stained glass and inside they have these huge huge windows like at least 1 storey long which are all stained glass.

This was the actual castle and the great hall. It was big and the whole floor was made up of wood. I think my mother looked happy here, in most of the other pictures she looked pissed off because it was so cold.
Mother: WAAHHH this hall so nice look at the windows and the ceiling.
Becky: mmhhmm
Mother: Imagine if you get married here! So beautiful
Father: Who do you think she is? The Princess of the czech republic?
Mother: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
My parents have a funny sense of humor.

Mother: Why do i look so uh whats that word in all the pictures!
Father: I believe the word you're looking for has 3 letters and starts with a F and ends with a T
Mother: NO I MEANT WRAPPED UP.
I think in cold countries you put on weight like a whale. I am so serious, we walked so much and did not eat so much yet we all became fat. I think it's the food, its so super heavy. Everything was potatoes, cream, cheese, more potatoes. I nearly died I was so happy to be home. Immediately when we got home we headed straight for some good ol' Singaporean food.

My Dad looks happy. He just bought the hat and said his ears were now warm and fuzzy so he was very pleased with himself. The thunderstorm outside now is really quite scary. We were on our way to the communist museum to look at things. It was not really significant just all the history thing things.

I was taking an 'artistic' shot when my mother stepped in and ruined it. There isn't ALOT to do in Prague, just walking around and enjoying the city. The old town square is really old and crowded so i did not really like it. The shopping was alright, but at least it was cheaper than the rest of Europe. The girls in Czech are all so super pretty, I'm jealous.
Anyway will blog about Paris another day. I think i might go back and sleep now
